Indie: Independent Artists in the Music Industry

"Indie: Independent Artists in the Music Industry" is a documentary about indie music artists and seeing how modern access to technology like the Internet has affected the music industry as a whole. I was the producer and editor of this production.

It first aired for PBS on KMOS 6.3 Emerge on February 4 at 10 pm.

It won 1st place in the 2023 Missouri Broadcast Educators Association Awards in the Documentary category.

It was awarded "Best Documentary" in January 2024 at DMOFF

I did the camera operation, b-roll, and editing for this segment of "Focus ON", interviewing the owners of Retrograde Charitable Toy and Videogame Museum in Warrensburg, MO.

I did the camera setup and editing for this segment of "Focus ON", interviewing the CEO, Program Coordinator, and member of Retrieving Freedom in Sedalia, MO.

I did the camera setup and b-roll for this segment of "Focus ON", interviewing the owner of Jacks' Legacy in Knob Noster, MO.

I created many of the motion graphics and assisted with camera work. Produced by Icarus Roberts and Leilani Craig, "Under the Trans Umbrella" is a documentary highlighting those in the transgender community who came under fire in Missouri legislation.

I produced and edited this segment of "Focus On", interviewing the owners of Walkers 5 and 10 in Holden, MO. Shot on Canon 90D. Edited using Adobe Premiere.

The Benefits of Going to College

Produced by Leilani Craig, this video showcases Naka-Kon, an annual event that highlights Japanese culture with anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, and much more. I assisted with camera work and shooting b-roll.

Produced by Icarus Roberts, this video highlights the excitement of KC Pride Fest, an annual event organized by the KC Pride Alliance to celebrate Pride Month and bring members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I assisted with camera work and ran audio during interviews. I also created the graphics in the project.

I produced and edited this mini-documentary about the benefits of going to college from the perspective of someone who was going for 4 years, someone who started college then quit, and someone who never went. Shot on a Sony NX5U. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
